- Mid-day daily meals to 50 student beneficiaries
- Financial assistance to socially and economically backward students and staff to meet medical emergencies
- Student welfare for financially weaker students
- Construction of a home for the poor in association with NSS
- Distribution of study materials and wheelchairs to Divyangyan students (5 Nos.)
BEST PRACTICE 2: STUDENT PALLIATIVE CARE INITIATIVE (EDAM)
- The ‘EDAM’ is our students’ initiative to impart palliative therapy to terminally ill patients and bed-ridden people
- Psychological counselling, recreational therapy and psychological support to patients were provided by a certified counsellor
- 15 trained student volunteers, 77 palliative patients were targeted
- To extend food and provision support
- Student training on wound dressing, catheter change and administering medicines
- Wheelchairs, medicines, health and hygiene products were distributed
