Group Exercise Studio
Yoga, Zumba/ Aerobic Dances and Physical Fitness Exercises
The Group exercise studio is the main fitness hall on campus for group exercise purpose under Department of Physical Education. The Group exercise studio was made possible by the generous donation from Management and PTA of Sree Narayana College, Kollam on 2022. Located on the top of Main block, the exercise studio includes an area for Yoga, Zumba/ Aerobic Dances and Physical Fitness Exercises.
To gain access to the facility, you must be a Recreational Sports & Fitness member or a current Sree Narayana College Student member, Staff and Alumni.
Aerobic exercise provides cardiovascular conditioning. The term aerobic actually means “with oxygen,” which means that breathing controls the amount of oxygen that can make it to the muscles to help them burn fuel and move. Yoga, Zumba/ Aerobic Dances and Physical Fitness Exercises are develops the following health and fitness; to enable the students to have Good Health, to practice mental hygiene, to possess Emotional stability, to attain higher level of consciousness, to enable the students to become competent and committed professionals as yoga trainer and fitness trainer.
