Anti Ragging Cell

The College takes utmost care in providing a safe and peaceful academic campus to all students. Our College believes in promoting a harmonious relationship amongst its students and strictly condemns ragging. Anti-Ragging Cell and Squad is one of the most important and active committees of the College. It is extremely vigilant and takes various steps in reminding students the consequences of ragging. The Cell has appointed a squad comprising of student members and faculty representing each department for its smooth and efficient functioning. The College firmly adheres to the guidelines given by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and UGC. Ragging is prohibited in the campus and any complaints that are brought to attention, if found guilty, are strictly dealt with. The team makes sure that the new students and their parents are aware of their rights. The students are sensitized on the ill- effects of ragging and the legal proceedings in curbing the practice. Orientation programmes are conducted to create awareness for students and parents in the First semester and before the commencement of the academic year.
