Thilakan, the Malayalam film actor and winner of 3 National Awards and 11 Kerala State Film Awards, Government of India honored him with Padmashri in 2009, was born in 15 June 1935 in Pathanamthitta. He was a notable figure in the history of Sree Narayana College. In 1955, Thilakan joined in S.N.College and for a College function, he enacted the role of a doctor in a play and he joined in Arts Club and also got the role of Mark Antony in the play Julius Caesar. Thilakan expressed that he became a good actor only because of this great bit of advice from his Colleagues. He appeared in over 200 Malayalam films, one of the greatest actors of Indian Cinema.
