9. International Colour Day was celebrated by the Department of English in association with the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication on March 21, 2023 to make the students aware of how colour makes our world a better place and also to convey the symbolic significance of each colour.

3. Blood Donation Program (26 Nov 2022): Organised by 3 (K) Naval NCC in association with IMA, Kollam. 10 cadets from our college donated blood.

4. Kollam Beach Cleaning as part of Puneet Sagar Abhiyan (23 Nov 2022): 3(K) Girls Battalion in association with 3(K) Naval NCC organized the program. 40 cadets of our institution actively participated in the Kollam Beach Cleaning Program.

5. Department of Physical Education in association with Sports Club organized the Intercollegiate Men’s Ball badminton championship 2022-23 on10th & 11th November 2022. Competitors representing various colleges affiliated to the University of Kerala participated in the championship. Sree Narayana College, Kollam secured Second runner-up in the Men’s Ball badminton Championship. In the closing ceremony Dr. Razia K. I., Director In-Charge, Dept. of Physical Education, Thiruvananthapuram distributed the prizes.

Naval Unit NCC in association with district legal service authority, kollam, Taluk Legal Service Authority, Kollam and Anti-Drug Awareness Cell of the College jointly organized a Seminar on 30 June 2022 at College Seminar Hall. Sri. Sudhakanth R, Honorable District and Sessions Judge, District Court Kollam inaugurated the Seminar. The keynote address was delivered by Adv Venu J Pillai, Pannel Lawyer, Taluk Legal Services Committee, Kollam. Principal, Prof. Dr. Nisha J Tharayil Presided over the function.

5. 3(K) Naval NCC Subunit of Sree Narayana College, Kollam in association with National Service Scheme and Department of Physical Education Observed IDY 2022. On 20 June we organized a Poster Competition. The winners of the Poster competition were our cadets. On 21 June organized a seminar on ‘Holistic Healing through Yoga’. Ms. Priya Antony, Yoga Instructor was the resource person. After the seminar, a yoga demo session was conducted by Yoga scholars of Sree Narayana Women’s College, Kollam.
6. Department of Physical Education association with NSS, NCC and Sports Club of Sree Narayana College, Kollam, organized a seminar and poster presentation connection with the Inter National Yoga Day Celebration 2022-23 at G2 Seminar Hall on 21 June 2022.

7. World Ocean Day 2022 – 08-06-2022: Beach cleaning activity”: Organised by Dept. of Zoology, S N College, Kollam in association with Ocean Society of India, Ocean Society of India-Cochin Chapter & National Centre for Coastal Research (NCCR), MoES, GoI.

8. 3 (K) Naval NCC Subunit of Sree Narayana College, Kollam observed world ocean day on 08 June 2022 in association with Ocean Society of India – Cochin Chapter and National Centre for Coastal Research (NCCR), Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India and Department of Zoology, Sree Narayana College, Kollam. As part of the Ocean Day Celebration, 25 Naval NCC cadets of our college actively participated in the Kollam beach cleaning programme.

9. World Environment Day is celebrated annually on 5 June and the Department of Economics provided awareness and action for protecting the environment. Like the previous year, Department had taken the initiative to plant trees at home. “Only One Earth” is the 2022 World environmental day slogan, with a focus on “Living Sustainably in Harmony with Nature”. Prof. Manju Rajan, Assistant Professor, Department of Economics, delivered a speech on this theme at the Department seminar hall on 05.06.2022.
10. World Environment Day was celebrated with various students activities on 5th June 2022. Student members are actively participate various programmes like campus cleaning, removal of plastic waste, cleaning activities in Shanthisthal , etc.: Organised by Biodiversity club.
11. Meeting of fifth and third semester class tutors was conducted at 2.30pm on 02.06.2022 at G2 Seminar hall: Organised by Tutorial Committee.

12. World Environment Day celebration – 2022 on 06-06-2022. Talk on the Theme – “Only One Earth”, Resource Person – Dr A V Santhosh Kumar, Topic: ‘Role of Youth in the Conservation of Earth’: Organised by Department of Zoology.

13. On 5th June Environmental Day was celebrated by giving awareness about the protection of our environment with the BSc chemistry students by planting trees with in the college campus: Organised by Department of Chemistry.

14. 3(K) Naval NCC Subunit of Sree Narayana College, Kollam observed World Environment Day 2022 on 05 June 2022 at Kollam Railway Station. The programme was inaugurated by Sri. Asif ADEN/QLN and presided by Dr. Mujeeb Rehuman ACMS/QLN. The awareness pledge was rendered by SMR/C/QLN. After the Awareness Pledge and rally, cadets cleansed off the surroundings of Kollam railway station and planted Fruit-bearing tree saplings. 22 Cadets from our institution, Staff from various Departments, Coolie Porters, Auto and Taxi Drivers were participated. Total 130 participants attended the program.
15. For commemorating the Environment day, on June 1, 2022, a one day seminar was organised by PG & Research Department of Botany in association with Social Forestry Wing, Kollam Unit.

May 2022

1. The Department of Chemistry organized a Merit Day Celebration for appreciating young achievers in chemistry on 20.05.2022 Friday at G2 Seminar hall. Award distribution was done as part of the merit day.

2. Sundaresan Memorial one day Seminar was conducted on 20.5.2022 by the department to pay homage to the memory of Dr. K. Sundaresan (Former HoD, Chemistry). Dr, S, Sadasivan (Retired HoD in Chemistry, University College, Trivandrum) delivered a lecture on “ Spectroscopy”: Organised by Department of Chemistry.

April 2022

• Chocowheels had arranged a stall in college campus as part of University youth festival on 25.04.2022: Organised by ED Club.
• ED club organised a ‘Dream Catcher’ making workshop for the Students on 22.03.2022. The session witnessed a variety of designs in Dream catcher. The resource person for this workshop was Smt. Reena. She gave hands on experience to students on making dream catchers which are used as a home décor and have spiritual significance in Asian countries.
