BSC CHEMISTRY

BScZOOLOGY

  • Students develop aclear understanding of the correlation and coordination

between the structure and function ofdifferent organs and organ systems of the

body.

different organ systems of the body.

  • Students learn thecorrelation between diseases and the abnormal structure or

improper functions of organs.

Course Outcome

CO:2    Itembolden students a passion for learning about the past to facilitate them inachieving an enhanced understanding of contemporary world and to make dialogueto the future.

CO:3  The  students of history acquiredwith practicaland theoretical skills, employability and intellectual curiosity,along with elevating publicunderstanding about the past and its heritages

  • Share and Care, is an initiative by the faculties of Sree Narayana College, Kollam, to help economically poor students with the target of providing lunch,books, study materials, medical aid, etc. Providing wholesome and nutritious meals to the economically deprived students, promotes education, health, lessen inequalities and end hunger. It also helps in developing the confidence of the students. Thirty five students were benefitted for the academic year 201819. The programme started twenty years ago, is still continuing successfully and will continue in the coming years.
  • Palliative Care Unit of Sree Narayana College, Kollam, aims at improving the quality of life of patients and their families facing issues related to life threatening illness by employing “active total care”.It provides relief from pain and other distressing symptoms by integrating the social,psychological aspects of patient care.
  • The Sree Narayana College, Palliative Care Unit started during the academic year 201718 aims at inculcating caring mentality among the students and the activities of the same are continued with vigour and vitality by the college staff in cooperation with the students,so that we could render patients and their loved ones expert clinical and moral support.The volunteers visited the patients in the palliative wing of Kollam District Hospital on 27/10/2018 and 9/2/2019and also
  • patients in the neighbourhood and the students took back with them memories that result in a transformation in their attitude.
